Since the peaceful liberation of Xizang, the lives of farmers and herdsmen have undergone tremendous changes. Especially since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, people's lives have been comprehensively improved, with fresh vegetables, safe drinking water, reliable electricity, comfortable houses, and paved roads... The rural landscape has taken on a completely new look. Mentioning the gratifying changes in his hometown, Qide, a deputy to the National People's Congress and the Party secretary of Porongtang Village, Jiangmian Town, Baqing County, Nagqu City, wore a bright smile on his face.

"A village is like a big family, and since everyone has elected me as a deputy to the People's Congress and a village official, I must fulfill my duties in my position, carry out my responsibilities in my role, and not let down the trust of the Party and the people." Qide, 44 years old, has previously served as the village doctor, a member of the villagers' committee, the director of the village women's committee, and the chairman of the village women's federation in Porongtang Village. Over the years, Qide has always kept the well-being and safety of the villagers in his heart, doing practical things and good deeds for them, and leading them to increase their income and become prosperous.

At the 2024 two sessions, Qide proposed a suggestion to increase support for the animal husbandry industry in Xizang, which received great attention. "In recent years, our country has continuously increased investment in the animal husbandry industry in Xizang. In 2024, the output value of the animal husbandry industry in Baqing County surpassed the two billion yuan mark, with a growth rate of 6.34%, and the per capita disposable income in rural areas increased by 8%. Currently, the per capita net income of the villagers has reached 24,000 yuan."

"In 2024, our county celebrated two major events. The first is the opening of the new county people's hospital, which is clean, beautiful, and equipped with upgraded medical technology and equipment. The second is the completion of the county's second high school. At this year’s two sessions, I will share these good news with other deputies and members, letting them know that under the strong leadership of the Party, Xizang has indeed become prosperous and better off." Qide excitedly introduced.

Qide has paid special attention to grassroots governance work. Before attending this year's two sessions, Qide has frequently conducted research and visits at the grassroots level, continuously collected public opinions, and made thorough preparations to fulfill his duties.
